Apparently this instructor was subbing for the usual instructor for this class but it was fab. Not a heated class but no AC so it was definitely hot in there! see all reviewsIve been doing pilates for a while now but this was my first time taking a heated class. I was intimidated going in and immediately realized that this class is NO JOKE! The studio (beautiful btw) is close to 100° which was definitely overwhelming in the beginning, but by the end of class I felt really, really great. Just be prepared to sweat. A LOT . Eddie's sequence was a good mix of classical mat pilates moves with the standard props. Bonus points that he's funny and animated which definitely helps to keep morale up while laying in a puddle of your own sweat. I liked this class a lot more than I expected- I will definitely be back!

see all reviewsRyann was so sweet and welcoming! I really loved the pace of her class. Steadily challenging. Her playlist was also fantastic and kept a great energy for the class. There were a few throwbacks that helped distract/ make the burn less obvious. I took her class right after Jada’s Sunday Service and I feel like this may have to be my new Sunday routine. I’m just getting back into Mat Pilates more seriously and this studio and community really has me feeling inspired. They also enforce a lateness policy and doors lock after class starts which I appreciate (even as someone who might cut it pretty close with start times).

I have been taking Pilates mat and reformer on and off for >30 years but I have never seen the toys that were featured in this class. A kind of missile with handgrips which challenges your balance and core and TRX were among my favorites. The teacher was chill and magnetic and made helpful corrections in the class. Recommend!

see all reviewsGreat class! I really felt the burn as someone who has been working out for years, but the class was still adaptable for beginners. One suggestion I have for this studio is to mic up the teacher, he was giving instructions at a volume totally appropriate for mat Pilates (where you don’t want to be yelled at like a bootcamp class) but even though the music wasn’t loud either, the acoustics in the room didn’t really allow me to hear him when he was on the opposite side. I messed up the first leg of the glute series because I couldn’t really hear him. I would still come back because the class was effective and well thought out.

see all reviewsLoved my class with Samantha and my other with Gabriella a few days prior! Both are really welcoming, they ask if you’re new (because then they’ll give you a run down of the machine), they are easy to follow whether you’re new or not. And difficulty can be tailored no matter the level - they’re always throwing out how to make it harder or on the flip side, more comfortable. I enjoy that it’s mixed up each time I go, because I know I won’t get bored and I’ll consistently feel challenged. I’d highly recommend! Excited to try out the other instructors as well :) Shoutouts to Gabriella and Samantha!
