see all reviewsTook Barre and loved it. Allows you the option to challenge yourself as much as you’d like. Fun to be able to work muscle groups in ways that I used to as a dancer like 15 years ago. That said, my legs were burning in a good way and I feel like I got a ton out of the class. Taylor offered welcomed and helpful corrections on technique. I took a barre class at a different popular studio last week, and that class fell short in comparison to this one.

One note I’d make is that it is sometimes hard to hear the instructor over the music if she’s on the other end of the studio room; I’d recommend turning the music down a notch or speaking from the center of the room.

The instructor’s prompts could’ve come a few beats earlier to prepare to flow into the next move, but overall it was still a fun class, if a bit uncoordinated feeling at times.

The class was the perfect balance of cardio and strength- I have visited other barre studios but barre3 blew them out of the water. I was not expecting to sweat that much! I will absolutely be back.

As someone new to barre, it will take some practice to get used to the ten-counts for exercises (as opposed to eight) and the pacing of the class (alternately intense and then stretching). Overall, a fun experience!

The pacing was good, every time i felt like i was dying we were almost done with the set, so although i had to take a bunch of breaks bc im out of shape, i never fell behind or felt pushed too far.
