It was my first SoulCycle (& cycling in general) class & I didn’t feel pressured to perform in the same way the more experienced riders were. The seats are quite uncomfortable & was the most painful aspect of the experience (even w/ a thick bottom), so be prepared for that. Overall 8/10.

Especially cues like how much weight should be in each leg for certain punches and how close or far back I need to be from the bag. Such a good full body class my shoulders are on 🔥! see all reviewsI have been taking Well Flow with Emma H for a bit now and it’s been my favorite at Studio Fire. used to hate workout classes before I found this studio. The structure of this class is great. You do one flow and then one round of HIIT and then another flow and another HIIT and then again for a total of three times. After that it’s core and glutes and there is still time for meditation. It’s a full body workout that isn’t intimidating and you get breaks throughout. Emma does a great job making you feel relaxed and letting you know that this is your time and you can take what you need in the class but also pushes you a bit during HIIT. It’s great and Emma’s music choices are always awesome!

Kiera also provides great cues for the treadmill portion of the class. She lets participants know what speeds are suggested and most importantly how long each "working" block is before recovery - so that participants can adjust their speeds accordingly. This is extremely helpful because on longer blocks you may need to scale the speed back and on shorter blocks you can push the pace. (Other instructors do not always do this which is frustrating) Great all around job Kiera!

Treadmill portion was awesome, hard to miss the instructions there and the light jog-run-sprint intervals were perfect. For the floor workouts, if you don’t hear the exercises you fall behind a bit but can catch up by looking at others! Instructor talked a bit fast & the music was very loud, however I caught most of what he was saying. Definitely recommend for a fun/challenging class!

The wood and the art and the string lights…the most aesthetic Pilates studio in the dmv from what I can tell. I would be here every day if I lived closer, but luckily, I was in the neighborhood and able to stop by. The class itself was expertly run as well, & I really appreciated the juxtaposition of the strength moves and the stretching postures. It took basic reformer up a notch and brought some real originality, too. If y’all ever want to set up a satellite studio in McLean or Arlington, I will be your best client.
