Jackie’s class was great! She really explained the movements well and why they are beneficial for parts of the body. Her description and demonstration of movements helped to target the areas we were working on, and she made sure to advise of what kind of feeling should be present when performing a specific movement to ensure accuracy. Great instruction and I will certainly return for her class again another time.

The class size was quite small, only 5 people when I went which meant a lot of guidance from our instructor Sydney. She was great about giving form corrections for anyone that needed it. This workout was definitely focused more on building strength and keeping up good form rather than high intensity. People of all abilities can take this class confidently.

    Breath & Sound Journey

Pure bliss! If you’re looking for a way to melt away stress and experience deep relaxation then look no further! This was, hands down, the best sound bath experience I’ve ever had in the city. The instructor has a relaxing voice and it is a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, perfect for letting go of the day’s stresses. The sound bath itself is a carefully curated blend of instruments, from gongs and chimes, to singing bowls and a rain maker. It filled the room with a wave of soothing vibrations. Not only do you hear the sounds but also feel them resonating throughout your body, releasing tension. I emerged feeling rejuvenated and revitalized with a clear mind. It was the perfect antidote to the daily grind. I highly recommend checking out this sound bath.

I had an amazing first class trying out aerial. Instructor Mac was great and really attentive. Made the class less intimidating. Didn’t realize why they had ginger candy all around because you’re upside down 80% of the time! Felt a little lightheaded after so I would suggest not doing this before work or anything important. Would definitely want to try it again though!

It was ok but it wasn’t really cardio. Mostly regular Pilates with a few minutes of jumping. No knocks against the class just letting people know it’s not too much of a cardio workout. probably good if you are looking for more of a regular Pilates class with some a little bit of cardio. I wore my chest strap heart rate monitor and I was only out of zone 1 for 1 minute and 34 seconds. Average heart rate was 81 bpm.

Circus Prep All Levels Adult Class EAST END

Nico is an absolute angel! We had a smaller class so he went through some basic building blocks with silks and a good stretch beforehand and after, and was really intuitive about what to show us. GOOD TO KNOW FOR ATTENDEES: I would definitely recommend that people have a basic upper body strength (can do a pull up) and have leg and hip mobility (can easily lift your knee to and above hip height) for this class, even though it says beginner it is to your (and the instructor and rest of the class)'s benefit if you have that basic strength. ALSO if you're brand new to this, go in expecting to struggle, it's part of the fun!
