see all reviewsNice class format. We split into groups and each worked one station at a time. Stations were mitts, heavy bags and foot work. At the end, we all did arms together with weights and finished with stretching. The vibe was extremely laid back with all levels of students. It sort of felt like you were on your own in the circuits where the instructor wasn’t holding mitts. This could be good or bad depending on your preference. I enjoyed it and got a good workout.

see all reviewsI greatly enjoyed my first class here. It has a small, family feel. This Open Beginners class had a range of ages from 4 to adults, which I liked because it helped me feel humble, motivated, and open to learning. It was structured with a warmup/stretching, strength & cardio, practice blocking and punching, and paired sparring. I am an absolute beginner at karate, but Sensei did a great job meeting every person at their level. She motivated each of us. It was genuinely one of the hardest workouts I've done in a while, but fun at the same time. I hope to return!
