    Slow Burn Hot Mat Pilates

Great class! I really felt the burn as someone who has been working out for years, but the class was still adaptable for beginners. One suggestion I have for this studio is to mic up the teacher, he was giving instructions at a volume totally appropriate for mat Pilates (where you don’t want to be yelled at like a bootcamp class) but even though the music wasn’t loud either, the acoustics in the room didn’t really allow me to hear him when he was on the opposite side. I messed up the first leg of the glute series because I couldn’t really hear him. I would still come back because the class was effective and well thought out.

The instructor made it welcoming for all levels, encouraged modifications when needed, and demonstrated them throughout the class.
