I like that she spends more time in each position to really burn out the muscle instead of switching it up every 30 seconds and getting nothing out of it. Last night was a little long using the straps for abs though, felt like it was too much strain on the neck for 10 minutes straight. Otherwise great class!

see all reviewsThis was my first class at BodyRok and it was great! Nikki was an awesome instructor, her cues were easy to follow and she brought good energy to the studio. I ended up having a nice chat with my neighbor before class started and she was very nice and welcoming as well. The lighting is great in the studio, the playlist was fire, the studio is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The class itself kicked my 🍑, I was leaving the studio like a baby giraffe learning how to walk. If you’re new to Pilates and don’t know all of the cues this is a good studio to dip your toe in the water, Nikki made it easy to follow and demos harder moves to give you an idea of what you’re doing, I never felt lost or frustrated. The flow was great, the pace was great, I would definitely come here again!

Katie had some new challenges that I really enjoyed. Her formatting was great unfortunately for Katie the mic was cutting out and doing some weird stuff, but she handled it with grace, if she became a regular at Rino/Lodo I would definitely check out her classes.

see all reviewsThe Pilates workout itself was effective, and I definitely felt challenged, but there were a couple of elements that could be improved to enhance the overall atmosphere. The lights in the studio were very bright, which made it a bit harder to focus and get into the groove of the workout. Additionally, the music was quite low, and I found that it didn’t quite match the energy of the session. I wonder if there’s a possibility of having certain classes with dimmed lights and a more upbeat playlist, as that combination really helps create a better vibe for me personally. Another thing I would suggest as a class pass user is that it would be helpful to know specifically which body parts a class is targeting, instead of just the general “megaformer” label. That way, I can better decide which class is right for my needs. Overall, though, I had a good experience and will definitely give Body Lab another try. Looking forward to seeing if they make some of these tweaks!
