One the best and most fun workouts I’ve had in a while. Alfredo was so welcoming and encouraging, such a playful yet focused and high energy instructor. I came to the gym on my birthday to spin up a new dedication I have for myself this year and Gold's Gym, Downtown Los Angeles, CA was absolutely the perfect place to do this. Check In was simple, access to the locker room was really easy as was the steam room, pool and shower. I lifted weights, exercised on the stair climber, swam 20 laps, and relaxed in the steam room after my workout. I was super-pleased with the gym and the staff was not only informative but very kind as well. I recommend this gym to anyone toying with the idea to get back into working out. You'll thank me :)

Jeri is a natural healer, lover and all around beautiful person. I am not a yoga enthusiast but do enjoy a good yoga class. I typically seek the hard core ones not realizing what I needed was Jeri’s class! This class was rhythmic and energetic and self - affirming and even goofy at times but I LOVED EBERY MINUTE OF IT! I also forgot to ask Jeri for her playlist! The cherry on top was the intimate studio situated right next to the beach where you can just feel the fresh beach air seeping through. Great studio.

Coach Ray is so good. I feel like I can make mistakes with her. I dont feel judged as a beginner, which is really important when learning something new. The workout is HARD. You’re going to sweat. But… you also get what you put into it. Show up ready to learn, ready to push yourself, and you’ll have fun! This location has a shower but it’s a little awkward. It would be a bit challenging to shower and get ready for work here because you’d be taking up one of two bathrooms. Other than that this has been a good gym!

    Foundations & Fundamentals

This class was a good introduction to the absolute basics of yoga. It definitely felt like a restorative meditation class with ample time focused on breath work rather than a work out based class. Even so, Chris made this class an enjoyable experience as he was very mindful of everyone’s boundaries as he fixed poses for each person. I never realized how important being in the correct pose and alignment can reflect on the inner mentality during yoga, but now I do after this class! The studio was clean and fairly intimate for a small class, but there was a cubby area, bathroom, and a water fountain provided. Parking was not an issue as there was a large lot next door. Class was great and would think about coming back again for a different class in the future.
