I never realize until today how much praising and modifications push me forward. Nick nearby anytime that I needed him and what I was slacking on positioning, he quickly got me back on track. I will definitely be returning to this gym and hopefully one day I’ll have a membership. Also, shout out to GEM at the front desk. She had such a bubbly personality and gave me a warm welcome, making me feel right at home.

Basically, the instructor will demo something for everyone to practice on the bags. Lastly, ended with some mat/floor workouts and stretches. The instructor was friendly and positive and made sure to talk to everyone. p.s. Will be asked to use a towel on top iff using studio's mat so would recommend to bring your own towel/mat.

see all reviewsTook the Friday 9:30 class with Lex, he is great! He gave me a perfect & quick introduction to the studio since it was my first time. Lockers are there to put your stuff away, boxing gloves you can borrow (white is for adults, black is for kids), water bottle refill station, and bathrooms. Put your shoes away in the locker since they aren’t allowed on the kickboxing mat area - you have the option to keep socks on or off. First few mins of the class is a warm up, then you will either start on the punching bag and just use your arms OR the kickboxing bag where you use arms + legs. After a few mins, you rotate to the next station and end the class there. In between the routines, you have bodyweight exercises and rest/water breaks. Music playlist is high energy music (hip hop/rock/pop) from what I remember, but it is censored to keep it professional. Lex will help you a lot if you are a beginner, he is so patient and helpful! I would love to bring my family to a class like this, I felt like they would enjoy it. Also a day later - I have a good soreness throughout my body so it was definitely a good workout! 😄

Be prepared to go barefoot!🦶 warm up straight away with running and then learning the basics of the kicks and punches. It really is a fully body workout. According to my Apple Watch I burned a little over 500 calories. Glad I came with my friend because some moves require that you are paired up. I would come again forsure, as a plus size person over 300lbs I didn’t feel like I couldn’t do it, there were other beginners in the class too.

Coach John was substituting and he was very welcoming. Unfortunately, the 7p is more advanced, but he and the advanced ladies Mila, Michelle & Gwen were patient and kind teaching me basic fundamentals. They even allowed me to try the warm-up and some of Coach John’s moves of the day. Everyone was super welcoming, so I appreciated the impromptu intro to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I’ll be back for the 6p here at UFC CM or maybe try to the ladies gi at UFC HB. Good stuff!

First time attendee can use welcome gloves, however, it’s expected boxing gloves are brought to each class thereafter. Rentals are for members only. The screens showing the exercises at each of the 9 stations were my favorite part. Makes self guided workouts doable for all. High intensity, high calorie burning, endurance building, with a cleaned and cool padded gym. Great set up and very spacious. Would definitely recommend and go back.
