You have two sets of weights (one medium and one heavy) with the opportunity to play around and figure out if you need heavier weight. The class went by wicked fast and Abbie gave really great cues throughout. Definitely worth taking and will go again!

However, some white noise would go along way to block out the neighbors noise which is very distracting when trying to be zen.

Amazing teachers, bumping community, prime location right at the intersection of Logan Square and Avondale, and great sequences. The class I did today was a blend of the Breathe and Restore modalities. It was a great introduction to breathwork for me followed by a soothing sound bath. The only negative is sometimes the classes book out ahead of time, so make sure to save your spot early. Thankful I found this community. He went into detail in explaining each move and we were able to flow through the class almost effortlessly. He really pushed us to keep going and use heavier weights if you could. At the end of class he invited us to join the next class and even helped instruct us in some additional moves to work on to improve balance and stability. I really loved how low impact this workout was while still getting the burn that I desired. I felt comfortable and welcomed in the studio and even received a tour at the end.

It was just us working together and that can be scary sometimes, but Nathan made it enjoyable by tailoring the class to what I was looking for. I received gentle contactless corrections and lots of check ins to make sure i was doing ok (I’ve had back surgery). I enjoyed the class and felt it was more relaxing than super duper challenging, but I think that if you are looking for somewhere to learn about movement, breath and connecting with yourself that this is the place (skip those $200/month yoga HIIT classes lol).
