I didn’t participate in the upper body part because I have pole dance after and also I lift really heavy for upper so I couldn’t feel it and don’t want the instructor to think I’m disrespectful haha. Just didn’t apply for my goals. After years off cardio I have a lot of work to do but she lets you go at your own pace so I’m sure I will get better at it over time. I like music a little louder but understand a lot of people hate that so have to compromise haha

And I think rowing promotes the release of endorphins because I was feeling super refreshed after the class!🌝✨ They also have other rowing classes which you can progress to after taking this class. The instructor Alastair was incredibly patient in guiding us through the basics of rowing and he gave a lot of tips on the proper form, how to use the rowing machine, about pacing ourselves, etc. Just a tip (especially for ladies): recommended to wear those training gloves with padding at the palms (you can get them at Decathlon for less than $20) because I was beginning to get blisters on my palms after the class.. 🫣 If you are interested in rowing, give this class a try. It's incredibly fun!

Which I feel as a beginner or someone who is completely new to reformed Pilates is important as no one enjoys being embarrassed when trying new things. The class was obviously beginner focused but there were opportunities for you to increase the intensity of the session if needed. Dustin took the time as well to check in with each person attending the class which can often be forgotten about and not something I have experienced in other reformed Pilates classes. I did my first ever class today & the instructor made me feel SO comfortable and supported, I felt I could go at my own pace and really pushed myself past what I thought I was capable of.
